2016 Fulton County Honor Band!

Congratulations to the following 24 Band members who have been accepted by audition to the 2016 Fulton County Honor Band!
The Band will work next Tuesday and Wednesday (11/15-16) at Centennial HS and perform Centennial HS on Wednesday evening.

Fulton County District Wins Certificate for Excellent Budget Management

Budget Services was deeply honored to present a Certificate of Excellence to 83 Bookkeepers and 35 Program Assistants throughout the District for excellent Budget Management for fiscal year 2016.
Monitoring Fulton County Schools' budget is important, ensuring that all the needs of our students, faculty, and staff are met. These Bookkeepers and Program Assistants not only met the budget standards, but exceeded them.

AHS Senior Awarded Teen Volunteer of the Year Award

Senior Nitish Sood was awarded the Teen Volunteer of the Year award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the organization that hosts the NPD celebration locally. This event held in November throughout the US and abroad has been held annually in Atlanta since 1983 and recognizes and celebrates Philanthropy in our community. Today's luncheon showcased several others, among them Lucy Carpenter Vance and Chris Carlos, and honored the spirit of Philanthropy at this sold out luncheon of 1000+ community leaders at the Georgia Aquarium.
