Aditya Singh Becomes State Finalist For The FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC) Dean’s List Award

The AHS Robotics Club congratulate Aditya Singh for becoming a state finalist in the FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC) Dean’s list award. Aditya will now move on to the FTC World Competition. The Raiders of the A.R.C. wishes him good luck, and we are proud of him.

Varsity Winter Guard Win First Place In Their First National Competition For WGI Knoxville Regionals

This past Saturday our Varsity Winter Guard competed in its first national competition of the year. Our score from this past weekend currently has us ranked 6th in the country. 
These rankings change weekly as there are WGI competitions nationwide each weekend. We will get a new score and updated ranking when we attend our next WGI competition in South Carolina on March 14-15.

Alpharetta Theatre Students Receive High Honors At The Georgia Thespian Conference!


Congratulations to the Alpharetta Theatre Department for a great showing at the Georgia Thespian Conference this weekend. Our group musical performance With Emma Moore, Lauryn Lovett, Hana Soomro, Megan Jacobs, Libby Lindahl, and Katelynn Singleton received a superior rating and are eligible to compete at the International Thespian Festival this summer, Libby Lindahl and Farrell Russell received an excellent rating in duet musical and Harika Kosaraju and Megan Jacobs received excellent ratings in solo musical. Libby Lindahl was chosen as one of the top 50 performers in the state and performed in the opening showcase. In the category of improv, Hana Soomro, Maya Garfield and Cameron Eure were all state-finalists.
