Math in Movies Activity

In Ms. Zielinski's math class, the students were asked to recreate 3-D minion toys in two views: frontal and overhead. The concepts used were properties of circles, lines, and 2-D shapes. Students were required to draw the toy by a scale factor of 3 and then derive the formulas for any piece drawn (standard form of circle, line, etc.). Overall, a very unique activity!
