Coach Romero has been a dedicated member of Raider Nation since 2015, serving in multiple leadership roles and working closely alongside Coach Lassiat as Assistant Athletic Director. His deep commitment to our students, staff, and athletic programs has been evident throughout his tenure, and we are thrilled that he will continue to lead and support Raider athletics with excellence.
Coach Romero brings continuity and a strong sense of purpose to our athletic department. He is already actively working to sustain the incredible community-focused events initiated by Coach Lassiat, including our much-anticipated RaiderFest. His passion for fostering school spirit and building meaningful connections within our community is truly inspiring.
Over the years, Coach Romero has pursued professional development opportunities with the goal of becoming an Athletic Director, and it is remarkable that he will now fulfill that dream right here at AHS. His recent service as Interim AD has only further demonstrated his dedication, work ethic, and vision for the future of Raider athletics.
