for your leadership of this exciting exchange for our students and our school.
The memories and friendships made will stay with our students for a lifetime.

Department Chair. We appreciate all you do for our students, teachers and
school!
Professional of the
Month - Saida Dzaferovic
Saida (aka
Ms. D.) manages our Virtual Learning Lab with love and has been instrumental in
increasing the graduation rate at AHS. Thank you Ms. D. for all the extra time
and support you provide to our students who need to take additional classes to
graduate on time. Our students know you care about them and that you will do
everything you can to help them succeed. Your extra efforts truly make a
difference in the lives of our students! We appreciate you!
PLC of the Month –
Our AHS Counseling Team
Karen,
Keisha, Dee, Susan and Amy…we appreciate you! On this day that we celebrate
four years of increasing graduate rates, we must honor you. Thank you for all
you do to guide our students through high school and walk across the stage in
May. Each year, you end up working tirelessly to help seniors at-risk develop
that final plan to graduate while you are also writing hundreds of
recommendation letters to help students get accepted to the college of their
dreams. We appreciate all that you do for our students and know that you have
positively impacted the lives of so many AHS graduates! Thanks for all you do!
