To round out the organization of matter unit, Mrs. Jain's
and Mrs. Villarinho's classes collaborated and created one big "periodic table
of elephants." Apart from other
requirements, each student drew an elephant interacting with their element in a
way that describes and/or explains its properties. For example, the helium elephant is being
lifted up by helium balloons.
